Library of Michigan, this really may be the last chance

The Michigan Genealogical Council has a web site concerning the closing of the Library of Michigan. There are a LOT of links to additional web sites chock full of news articles, ways to contact your representatives, opinion polls and MORE MORE MORE.

Take a few minutes out of your busy life, visit the site, read the links, write some email.

There is one more gathering scheduled in Lansing, on the 10th of September:

"MLA rally on the steps of the State Capital on Thursday, September 10. The time is 10 a.m. Attire is anything RED."

There is additional data on the website of Michigan Libraries for the Future concerning this Rally. This page has very specific information.

If the Library is important to you, you WILL find the time. Good luck to the citizens of Michigan and the Library of Michigan.
